Job description
The Medical Assistant (MA)-Back Office is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician, surgeon, or other licensed health professional. The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care while maintaining high customer service standards.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/G.E.D. required. BLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. A minimum of six (6) months working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant preferred. Bilingual skills preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Day Shift.
