This is an opportunity for a carpenter (willing to be in the Union) with Commercial Carpentry skills to join an experienced and fun team as we build a mid-sized Woman-Owned Commercial General Contractor based in Redmond, WA and working throughout the Puget Sound Area with premier clients. The night shift schedule is generally 4 ten-hour shifts per week (typically 7pm-5am or 9pm-7am.) We offer our carpenters with 12 months tenure a 401(k) plan with 4% matching contribution.

Our company has maintained stability in the midst of the pandemic and we do TI work for premier companies in the tech, healthcare and communications sectors. Several of our key clients require COVID and flu vaccination in order to be on-site.

Duties will be varied. They may include:

  • Identify any workplace safety hazards and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them
  • Perform quality workmanship which conforms to Corti quality standards, client expectations, plans and specifications
  • Assist in the training and development of Apprentices
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and work areas

Education & Experience:

  • Prefer successful experience with a Commercial General Contractor, with at least 6 years Carpentry experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read electronic plans and use computer software such as MS Office
  • Excellent teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills

Compensation set by Carpenter's Union:

  • Apprentice 1 - Journeyman: $30.86 - $51.44 per hour
