Office Manager
The Office Manager will deliver the Home Health Aide curriculum that is current and accurate which includes infection control, patient rights, communication skills, safety, personal care skills, basic home care skills, HHA exchange, and agency policies. The Office Manager will also be qualified to maintain a predetermined time frame for yearly competency testing for all caregivers.
Training is held once a week or once every two weeks, depending on caregiver need. Manager duties include office work and assigning and monitoring all caregivers the yearly competency test. Currently, this position is 30hrs a week, 11am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. If qualified, this position will eventually lead to a higher position within the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach topics that meet federal and state requirements
- Assign training topics to all caregivers
- Keep up-to-date records of yearly competency test completion
- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls and provide basic company information
- Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents
- Prepare information and research for Office Administrators
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies
- Organize client files per state regulation
- Track and input client data
- Organize and setup materials in conference room for meetings and training sessions
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have some college education
- Extensive knowledge in the HHA field preferred (CNA's preferred)
- Must be able to cover caregiver shifts
- Possess leadership and self-starter skills
- Ability to follow training guidelines with adaptability skills
- Flexible schedule
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Professional references are strongly advised
