We currently have an opening for Logistics Manager to join our team at our Minneapolis Decedent Care Center in Bloomington, MN.

As a Decedent Care Network (DCN) Manager, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, financial performance, Team Member development, customer service standards, and company reputation of the DCN Care Center within the community.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Meticulous Attention: Oversee and ensure the fleet is always clean, fueled, stocked, and ready for transportation.
  • Preparation Excellence: Lead facility management to ensure the fleet of vehicles and all areas of the building and grounds are adequately maintained and in working order.
  • Complete Oversight: Maintain key performance indicators, track removal cost, inventory, vehicle mileage, and scheduled maintenance and cooler logs.
  • Clear Communication: Maintain open and effective communication for accurate and timely performance; lead weekly updates to share and exchange resources.
  • Follow-through: Manage deliverables, organize and coordinate workflow, and adhere to company initiatives and procedures.
  • Leadership: Lead staffing to meet business needs, including hiring, onboarding, and training of all new hires.

What We Require:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and logistics industry; minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field
  • Strong communication and grammatical skills, with the ability to proof work
  • Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Safety conscious, with ability to multitask, set priorities, and remain detail-oriented
  • Ability to lift 150lbs safely and walk, stand, and sit for long periods
  • Experience in funeral service and/or valid state-issued funeral director license is a plus
