Qualifications
Trained on EPIC EHR system
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of CA
DEA registration
Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program
Registered Nurse licensed by the State of California Board of Nursing
National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and licensed as NP in State of California
Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine the health status of a patient and implement proper care
Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach and counsel patients
A comprehensive understanding of outpatient adult medicine, patient care procedures, medical protocols, and testing procedures is necessary
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work under physician to provide consultation and testing services to pulmonary and sleep disorders patients.
- Opportunity to do in-patient consult on nursing home patients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
