Looking for the right person to fill an immediate full-time opening as a Parts and Warehouse Assistant in our parts department.

Cate Equipment Company is a Heavy Equipment Distributor and rental company for top tier brands such as Doosan, LeeBoy, Bucher Municipal, Wacker Neuson, Dynapac, Atlas Copco, and many more, covering Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. We are a third-generation family owned and operated business that has been around for over 85 years.

Our parts department is busy and growing, and we are looking for a great new addition to our team. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced parts / warehouse assistant or someone with a similar skill set. Duties would include:

· Answering phones and interacting with customer’s needs.

· Assisting with administrative needs of Parts Manager.

· Forklift certified and proficient in daily use.

· Orders, same day in – same day out. Process next day air shipments as priority.

· Counter and service pick tickets – ensure parts are pulled as printed on documents.

· Shipping and receiving of parts accurately.

· Warehouse and work area must be maintained in a clean and orderly condition.

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual work schedule.

· Teamwork – keep in mind that sales, service, and parts departments are here to work together and to service all our customers.

· Avoid conflicts, be courteous, prompt and provide responsive customer service.

· Check and inspect forklift for any operational issues prior to use.

· Drug free environment.

Successful candidate must have a knowledge of basic clerical office administration, including MS Office and Excel and functionality of inventory software. Great people skills.

Hours would be Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Full Time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
