Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) at Marshall B. Ketchum University (MBKU) is seeking applicants for the position of Patient Relations Team Member at the Los Angeles location.


QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WOULD BE EXPECTED TO:


  • Answer phones and make appointments
  • Verify insurance (training provided)
  • Help check-in and -out patients
  • Assist in calling patients to confirm appointments
  • Coordinate with the front desk administrators, directors and biller to ensure continuity of care and completion of tasks
  • Assist with projects as assigned by the office manager
  • Help with translating between English and Spanish if able
  • Schedule is Tuesday through Saturdays with excellent benefits package

The UECLA clinic proudly serves a predominantly underprivileged population in South Central Los Angeles. We are a fastpaced,
high complexity practice and offer several specialty services to those in need. We are looking for individuals who
are enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about providing care in this environment.


Candidates must have a high school diploma. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in an optical setting
and those who are board-certified opticians. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. This is a full-time position with a benefits
package. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and training of the candidate. Schedule will be Tuesdays
through Saturdays.
