Job description

A client of mine in the Union County area is looking to urgently hire a Payroll Specialist for their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Input bimonthly checkbook activity into the system
  • Vendo check processing- weekly pay cycle and as needed
  • Customer billings on as needed basis
  • Monitor bank reconciliations for assigned accounts
  • Monitor monthly general ledger

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting/ Bookkeeping
  • 2+ years of payroll experience, using ADP (plus)
  • 2+ years experience in general accounting (*_preferred_*)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality
  • Solid computer skills- Excel, Outlook, SAGE/Timberline (plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solver, and strong decision making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
