Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:

• Provides direct hands-on personal care to include: bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Provides resident assistance in accordance with Resident Service Plan.
• The Personal Care Aide notes service and treatment provided to the resident, the resident’s response, or lack of response to care provided.
• Listens to resident and family concerns, and reports concerns to the nurse.
• Answers call lights.
• Functions as an Universal Worker to assist residents with minor housekeeping, personal laundry, and activities.
• Assist residents with set up and administration of oxygen.
• Encourage residents to attend Activity programs and assist Activities staff as needed.
