Animal Care Attendant

We are a pet hotel/doggie daycare facility looking for a dedicated, animal loving associate to join our team! We take pride in treating all of our clients (two and four legged type) like family and are dedicated to giving superb animal care. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be willing to work as a team, and have a passion for all sizes/breeds of dogs and cats. Basic pet knowledge is required and we prefer candidates that have had animal related experience but are willing to train the right candidate.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising dog play in off leash groups. This is one of the biggest responsibilities of the job.

Take boarding guests outside for bathroom breaks and exercise.

• Clean up after Dogs
• Feeding and bathing Dogs
• Exercise animals in outdoor yards
• Greet and interact with clients/help check out daycare dogs at end of the night
• Clean Dog and Cat hotel rooms
• Participate in facility cleaning at the end of the night

This is a fast paced work environment and associates can expect to be on their feet, participate in indoor/outdoor activities with the dogs, and be able to lift at least 40lbs. Being in the hospitality industry our busiest times can be during holidays and/or weekends. Our ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work during our busiest times.

We are a well established company and are looking for long term candidates to join our team and have room for growth within the company. Non experience rate starts at $13/hourly with advancement after an initial training period to $14/ hourly. Six months after hire with satisfactory performance, rate increases to $15/ hourly with rate reviews every six months.
