Now Hiring – Pharmacist
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 hour shift between 8am through 6pm
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We are a long-term care pharmacy that provides specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We originated as part of an independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs initial and final review to verify prescriptions were typed and filled accurately
• Handles emergency calls from facilities
• Transfers STAT medications out to local pharmacies
• De-escalates and troubleshoots issues as they arise
• Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by Texas State Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
• Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approach
• Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing
• Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards
• All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred
• Must possess a New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack preferred but not required
• Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
• Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
