Position description
Performs distribution activities. Provides patient consultation and clinical interventions as appropriate. Serves as an education resource. Performs supervisory functions in absence of supervisor.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience required. Equivalent experience includes at least five years of relevant pharmacy practice.
Additional qualifications
Previous outpatient or community pharmacy experience preferred. Shows a commitment to excellence. Demonstrates leadership abilities. Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and organizational skills.
License or certification
Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state he/she is hired to work in, or eligible to obtain. May not independently fulfill responsibilities reserved only to a pharmacist until license is obtained.
