The Phoenix Mine is looking for a Dispatch Engineer, responsible for the mine technology systems at the Phoenix Operations: Minestar Dispatch Systems, Terrain High Precision, Drill Systems, CAES high precision grading and loading systems, and mine management reporting and real time tracking. The Dispatch Engineer will utilize these systems to drive continuous improvements and enhance efficiencies within the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, work within our safety culture, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Analyze dispatch data to improve fleet efficiency and utilization to meet/exceed key performance indicators
• Train dispatch supervisors in effective use of dispatch systems including (fleet management, ore control, reporting, and data collection)
• Manage and maintain the software network that supports the mine’s dispatch systems and ensure data integrity
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting tools to facilitate day-to-day decision making in mine operations, maintenance, engineering, and processing
• Coordinate with radio technicians and vendors to maintain field wireless network and onboard hardware
• Daily interaction with dispatchers and provides feedback on performance
• Quality reviews of data and corrections

Qualifications:

• B.S. Engineering or IT related field Required
• 2-3 Years’ experience in an Open Pit mining environment Preferred
• Solid computer skills: Microsoft Office, SQL Databases, business intelligence tools (SAP Business Objects, PowerBI, Tableau)
• Knowledge of dispatch systems: MineStar, Modular, Wenco, Jigsaw
