Job description

Responsibilities

· Operate phosphate line and waste water systems in a safe and efficient manner.

· Per production schedule, process parts according to Work Instructions, Operating Standards and process sheets.

· Operate tow motor and hand jacks to move material.

· Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials needed.

· Track and record all lot information through all processes on all components.

· Maintain logs and check sheets.

· Laboratory analysis and testing.

· Report any excess scrap issues to your Manufacturing Engineering Technician or Supervisor.

· Track and record all products produced, downtime, scrap and hours worked on labor sheet.

· Handle hazardous materials using proper safety equipment as prescribed by M.S.D.S. handbook.

· Monitor all tank levels and complete daily check sheet of phosphate line and waste water line.

· Perform line preventative maintenance as required.

· Maintain a safe work environment and report safety issues as they arise.

· Maintain filter press and clean as required.

· General housekeeping duties to ensure a safe work environment and a quality product.

· Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Physically demanding, must have ability to withstand heat, stand for 8 hr. shifts, climbing ladders and catwalks, and exerting physical pressure during many different operations.

· Forklift certification.

· Hazardous Materials Training on the job

· Respirator certification on the job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.35 - $22.51 per hour
