The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pilates and helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. We’re looking for energetic, friendly instructors that can lead dynamic apparatus focused workout routines (we use Balanced Body Reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, Springboards, Ballet Barre and more) and have confidence in working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Pilates group classes and private training sessions for clients of all fitness levels
  • Develop and create class plans that are safe, effective, and challenging pursuant to Club Pilates standards
  • Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
  • Provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations
  • Create a positive and supportive atmosphere during classes
  • Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard)
  • Experience teaching group equipment classes
  • Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience
  • Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and attention to safety
  • Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
  • Passion for learning and willingness to complete continued education trainings or workshops
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals
  • Punctual, reliable and dedicated

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • This position offers very competitive compensation, based on Experience & Performance. ($25-$30hourly) as well as bonus opportunities
