Caregivers/CNA's are responsible for providing care and health-related services designed to maintain the physical and emotional well-being for those living at Appleton Retirement Community! Caregivers/CNA’s will assists with tasks of daily living, Medication Administration, and other services as delegated by the RN

Resident Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist residents with personal cares and medication administration. On the job training.
2. Assist with meals as directed
3. Overall observation of residents both physically and mentally while performing cares. Alert nurse to any changes i.e. changes in skin color, bruising, open or pink, red areas, changes in mental status, confusion, unusual behaviors
4. Provide health care needs specific to each resident’s records, follow correct procedure and complete all required documentation to ensure delivery of care
5. Provide household services including laundry, emptying garbage, make beds and change linens or other services as directed
Resident Assistant Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- PREFERRED: One to three years of related work experience. Will train on the job
- Must be able to work irregular hours, weekends and evenings. Experience working with seniors is preferred. But not mandatory

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 /hour

- Seniors
Duties:
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
- Taking vitals, height, and weight
- Responding to emergency situations
- Administering medication
Hours per week:
- 20-40
Pay Frequency:
- Bi weekly
Typical start time:
- 1st shift 6:30am or 2nd shift 2:30pm
Typical end time:
- 1st shift 3pm or 2nd shift 11pm
