We are hiring for the following positions/ shifts:

• Toddler/ Two's Assistant Teacher 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Two's Assistant Teacher 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Three year old class Assistant Teacher 9:00am to 6:00pm

Kiddie Academy of Moorefield Station is an accredited child care/ preschool, serving children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years old. We are very passionate about Early Childhood Education and train our teachers to excel in their role.

We are searching for a nurturing teacher to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. As an assistant teacher, you will be working in conjunction with the Lead teachers to deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and ensure that the learning environment remains safe at all times. You should also be an excellent role model for our students.

To be successful teacher for these age groups, you should be creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Teacher in delivering lesson plans and achieving classroom goals.
• Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
• Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them.
• Mediating conflict between students.
• Modelling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
• Tracking and informing parents of students' progress.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
