Dekker Perich Sabatini is seeking an experienced construction Project Manager to contribute to our mission supporting work at Sandia National Laboratory (SNL), Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), and other various government installations. The role allows the individual a chance to work on sustainable projects, with exposure to cutting-edge industry technology. This position also offers the opportunity to make firm-wide contributions to projects ranging from, Multifamily Housing, Commercial and/or Education (K-12 & Higher Ed)
Responsibilities
- Be a key part of the DPS Government Studio as we grow and take on larger and more complex projects.
- Leading and designing multiple complex architectural projects through to their completion (planning, design, and construction services)
- Exercise sound judgment in applying comprehensive architectural design concepts to potentially unusual and/or complicated projects and situations
- This position includes working with sensitive information and involves in-office collaboration.
- Onsite and in-office work will be required.
Qualifications
- Must display an ability to work in a team environment alongside various disciplines
- Must pass a background check and obtain DOE security clearance
- US Citizenship required.
- Strong technical design and writing skills
- Demonstrates effective leadership and communication skills.
- Project management experience (3-5 years or more preferred)
- A proven ability to organize and complete projects on time and within budget.
- MS Word and Excel experience
- Knowledge of MS Project or creating project schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture preferred
