About the Job
We are looking for a new team member to join a critical part of our supply chain as a Purchasing Specialist in Bossier City, LA. Hardware Resources has a dedicated customer base that loves us because we have the right product in our warehouses. This role is key to making this happen. You will be responsible for analyzing data for stock replenishment and understanding customer forecasts. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Buys and tracks inventory of key product categories
- Works closely with Product Managers to track and ensure stock of critical and regular stock items
- Determines and coordinates rush orders that could require airfreight shipments
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Reviews and approves invoices related to inventory purchases
- Distributes weekly, monthly, and annual reports via Microsoft Excel, Slimstock, and our ERP system
Education and Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- At least three years of experience in related field preferred
