Intelligent Lighting Controls (ILC) is looking for entry level and experienced Lighting Controls Quotation Specialist. The position can be based in our corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN or remote.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Lighting Controls Quotations Specialist is responsible for providing lighting control system layouts and quotations to industry partners. The individual will review electrical plans, specifications, electrical codes, and other relevant project documents to provide accurate layouts and pricing. The position will report to the Customer Experience Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare lighting control proposals, device layouts, single-line diagrams, and quotations.
• Analyze bid documents, which include electrical plans, fixture schedules, specifications, sequence of operations, electrical codes, and energy codes to provide accurate project takeoffs.
• Work closely with sales representative network, engineers, and electrical contractors to gather appropriate information to generate quotes and system layouts.
• Accurately enter and adjust bill of materials in company ERP software.
• Assist industry partners with product application questions.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers and sales representatives.
• Maintain knowledge base of Intelligent Lighting Controls product line, which includes current and legacy products.
• Provide design build services for sales representatives and engineers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Electrical lighting and controls quotations experience.
• Attention to detail while thoroughly reviewing bid documents.
• Knowledge of electrical building and energy codes, electrical contracting, electrical engineering, or lighting design.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, CAD software.
• Ability to organize weekly schedule to meet project deadlines and bid dates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
