This is a Casual/Per Diem - 10 hour day position (Required four shifts per month) at our Scripps Encinitas Hospital

Join Scripps Encinitas Surgery Team as an RN in Pre-Op and Pre Surgical Evaluation where you will be amongst a team that is dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills and the ability to adapt to suit the needs of the unit.

Required:

• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
• One (1) year of RN experience in an acute care setting
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider certifications
• Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
• Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2 Years Pre-Op experience
• 1 Year Endoscopy experience
• 1 year of Med Surg/Critical Care experience
