The Anna Jaques Hospital Registered Nurse is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/ families/ significant others, utilizing the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, value and mission behaviors of the of the patient care division.

Job Description:
The Birth Center is seeking one participant for its annual New Graduate Nurse Program! Qualified candidates must have completed an accredited Registered Nurse program and be eligible for/or have received MA licensure. Preference will be given to those who have completed a clinical rotation in a postpartum or labor & delivery setting within the past year and/or have worked in a non-licensed role in a postpartum or labor and delivery setting. The candidate must be able to commit to 24 hours per week.

The Birth Center at Anna Jaques Hospital is a 12 bed, LDRP unit serving Newburyport and the surrounding Merrimack Valley. We offer private patient rooms with state of the art technology, working closely with all disciplines and including our relationship with Beth Israel Lahey Health. We have 24/7 obstetrics and anesthesia coverage with a nursing staff of 45. We are a Baby Friendly Designated hospital with a strong focus on patient experience.
