Positions Supervised: Buyer & PM Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Reliability Engineer is a maintenance and engineering support position. The primary function of this position is to apply scientific and engineering know-how to Pinnacle Oil processing and packaging equipment in order to function as they intended to function. The person in this position will also be the leader for Pinnacle Oil Equipment Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to:
- Identify opportunities to improve the equipment reliability, recommend solutions, and manage implementation. These opportunities will be a combination of, but not limited to, equipment installation, equipment set-up instructions, operation/utilization of the equipment, maintenance procedures, maintenance servicing issues, spare parts, etc.
- Providing equipment reliability information using data from predictive statistical technologies and non-destructive testing like Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound Scanning,
Infrared Scanning, Oil Analysis, Eddy Current, Liquid Penetrating testing, Dynamic/StaticMotor Current testing, etc.
- Periodically reviews operations/equipment and produces a reliability risk assessment to support short- and long-term capital plans.
- Develop, implement, and maintain equipment maintenance strategies to optimize its OEE, HSE compliance, cost, etc.
- Perform Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action plan for equipment breakdown due to abnormal conditions during PM, late maintenance activities, costs, etc.
- Development and implement of mechanical integrity program to optimize preventive maintenance on pressure equipment, piping, tanks, boilers, heaters, and rotating equipment.
- Track and maintain reliability metrics target such as, but not limited to, MTBF, MTTR, downtime, costs, emergency work orders, obsolete parts, bad actors, Events, etc.
- Perform Continuous Improvement of preventive maintenance program for accuracy, efficiency, and in support of compliance with applicable regulations.
- Technical expert and mentor in the proper use of the CMMS system for developing maintenance strategies, maintenance execution, and documenting equipment history.
- Develops Asset and Spare Part Criticality Ranking and maintenance strategies based on FMEA’s and best practices.
- Provide field support to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues. Support may be required outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering for design, selection, construction/installation to improve reliability and maintainability of new or modified equipment.
- Participates on special project teams, capital project design and execution as appropriate to ensure consistency of new installations with Pinnacle Oil maintenance standards and practices.
- Analyzes technical maintenance capabilities and supports management in efforts to close gaps to promotes operational cooperation and teamwork.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Sets a positive example for others both in maintenance and production areas with regards to work ethic and safety.
- Good knowledge of Planning and Scheduling
- Good computer skills, AutoCAD, CMMS software
- Good interpersonal skills and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with a variety of people.
- Prior Engineering experience with ability to apply engineering principles to equipment reliability.
- Teamwork, Interpersonal/People Skills
- Technical Knowledge/Writing, Data Gathering and Analysis
- Troubleshooting, FMEA, RCFA, RCM, and clear understanding of all cGMP policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and accepted work practices and procedures.
- Ability to understand technical and engineering design documents, schematic drawings and technical information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Reliability engineering and other engineering field
Professional: CMRP will be an added advantage
Experience: Minimum of 3 years work experience in an Industrial and Manufacturing setting.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
