Staffmax Healthcare is seeking RN's for a Intermediate Care Unit in Norman, OK starting within two weeks of offer.

New Graduates Accepted! (will be required to complete Vizient/AACN Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program)

Salary

• $24.75/hour - $40.42/hour (based on education and experience)

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license
• Diploma or Associate's Degree (ADN) - Required
• BLS
• ACLS

Special Skills Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Previous experience in healthcare field
• Critical thinkers
• Highly skilled to rapidly assess a patient's condition and intervene with immediate attention.

Position Summary

• Care for a wide variety of patients with complex medical conditions
• Common medication drips include Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone.
• IMC's charge nurse regularly does not take a full load of patients.
• Is a great resource to not only our staff, but other units' as well.
• Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data.
• Establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care.
• Delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions.
• Performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.
