Music Services is looking for a Royalty Processing Coordinator to join our team in Nashville. As a Royalty Processing Coordinator, you will help ensure royalties payments are accurate and correctly accounted for our Publishing Clients. To be successful in this role you will need a strong attention to detail, an aptitude for working with numbers and excellent organizational skills.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Ensuring royalty statement are properly filed and can be easily retrieved when needed.
• Formatting data files and configuring the information for ingestion into the database.
• Comparing ingested data with source data and reviewing for accuracy, discrepancies, and omissions.
• Preparing reports of posted royalty statements.
• Contacting licensees for statements and payments.
• Special projects as assigned.

What Makes You Qualified:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working in Music Publishing (can include intern experience).
• Proficiency w/ Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel, including pivot table and Vlookup knowledge.
• Comfortable working with and learning new technologies.
• A basic understanding of accounting and mathematic principles.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• A strong attention to detail and an ability to identify errors in data.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to meet assigned deadlines.
