Job description

The Department of Public Works is looking to hire seasonal employees for six months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(Experience in one of the following is required)

• Mowing and landscaping
• Branch chipping
• Basic maintenance of vehicles
• Building maintenance
• Perform related duties and manual labor as assigned
• Snow removal as needed

Required Skills/Experience

• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to maintain working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions

Hours & Wage: The starting rate for the position is $20.00 per hour. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Lincolnwood residency is not required for this position.
