Seasonal Part Time Ticket Sales Associate
Job description
The Seasonal Part-Time Ticket Sales Associate is responsible for selling tickets to the public from the box office using a ticket software system, while providing general information to guests. We request all applicants for this position have availability to work during the BNP Paribas Open tournament.
Part time shifts will vary as follows:
June through February between 8am-5pm March shifts vary from 8am-10pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell tickets to the public from the Box Office.*
- Assist guests at the Box Office window and help resolve all issues/problems.*
- Create exceptional experience for all guests through a safe, clean, and friendly environment.*
- Familiarize self with different venue layouts.
- Answer questions regarding events, tickets, & schedules.*
- Balance money at end of shift with supervisor.*
- Follow all operational policies and procedures for box office operations.
- Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as tickets, Driver’s License, draw sheets, and site maps. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with sponsors, customers or employees of organization. Bi-lingual a plus.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Cash handling experience required.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to successfully demonstrate the ability to use and complete tasks using our ticketing system. Training is provided.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; some college preferred but not required. Sales support history preferred.
