We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has strong interpersonal skills and a desire to cultivate positive relationships and provide exceptional service. This position can be remote but must be within driving distance to either our Keene or Hanover NH offices. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience but comes with unlimited commissions potential as well as a $1000 signing bonus.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
The position of Senior Account Manager (SAM) is a client facing support role intended to support their team directly and indirectly to assure that there is repeated success and client retention. The SAM works with their team to develop tools, products, and services to meet ongoing client needs and requests. Works closely with the Account Executive (AE) to bring the highest level of service possible to our clientele.
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required- Minimum three-to-five years in an account management role, preferably in employee benefits
- An active Health, Life, & Disability License with the State(s) of doing business required and must be maintained
- Ability to operate a Personal Computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel necessary) and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess exceptional independent judgement and decision-making skills
- Strong customer orientation required.
- Good organizational and analytical skills required.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed; demonstrates self-confidence.
- Ability to show empathy towards others.
- Set professional tone of cooperation, teamwork and judgment.
- Ability to manage stressful situations in a positive way.
- Must carry a cell phone off hours for occasional off hour client matters. Will be provided a monthly cell phone stipend.

- Unlicensed Account Managers will be expected to attain a Health, Life, & Disability License in the required time after starting with The Richards Group (all study materials and exam fees will be covered by The Richards Group).
