Senior Project Manager

Kinney Construction Services, Inc. (KCS) is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our corporate headquarters in Flagstaff, AZ. This individual will be responsible for the hands-on management and execution of new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects from pre-construction through close-out.

Management will be of commercial projects within our core markets: healthcare, education, municipal, hospitality, and corporate office. This is a pivotal role that reports to the President and involves working in close collaboration with our entire team.

Primary Responsibilities

· Project Management - Expertly manage all project phases for new construction, renovation, and

tenant improvement projects.

· Collaborative Facilitation - Coordinate project efforts with owners, architects, onsite management,

subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

· Preconstruction Management - Lead well-planned preconstruction efforts, including costs

estimation at various stages of design development, value engineering, constructability reviews, and critical path project scheduling.

· Schedule & Budget Management - Track and control the project schedule and associated costs to

achieve project completion on schedule and within budget guidelines.

· Familiar with LEAN management principles and application within the construction industry.

· Knowledge of sustainable construction and renewable energy including LEED, Green Globes, and
Well Building rating systems is a plus.

Qualifications

· Four-year degree in a related field.

· 7+ years of recent experience serving as Project Manager with a Commercial General

Contractor.

· Knowledge of construction cost control and necessary accounting procedures.

· Substantial estimating experience in a building General Contracting environment.

· Ability to perform take-offs, collection and review of subcontractor bids and estimation of

General Conditions.

· Familiarity with Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM), including Construction Manager

at Risk (CMAR), Design-Build, and Job Order Contracting (JOC).

· Solid proficiency in construction software use - experience with Primavera, Procore and

Viewpoint V6 Construction Software is a plus.
