Job description
Under the general supervision of the Program Director, the Sports Staff is responsible for maintenance of sports fields, supervision of participants and related tasks as assigned to. Individual must have the capacity and experience to work with kids.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, prepare, and maintain sports fields.
- Setup and remove sports equipment.
- Register sports participants, check in teams/players.
- Maintain/distribute paperwork.
- Supervise program and report all incidents to supervisor.
- Responsible for supporting group, private, semi private, clinics, leagues, and camps for children.
- Act as Official/Scorekeeper.
- Officiate sports competitions.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties & responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
Education & Certification:
- Must be 16 with a valid work permit. Experience in customer service preferred. Looking for Youth Soccer experience
- Must understand developmental learning.
- Must be able to work with children ages 3 to 15 years old.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer and results orientation.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
