Job description

Looking for a a supervising physician Licensed in the state of Texas for a start up health clinic. This is a remote position with no onsight supervision.

The supervising physician is responsible for all aspects of the performance of a nurse practitioner ensuring that the health care tasks performed by a nurse practitioner are within the scope of training and experience and have been properly delegated by the supervising physician.

B. Each physician-physician assistant team must ensure that:

1.The delegation of medical tasks is appropriate to the physician assistant's level of competence.

3. The relationship of, and access to, the supervising physician is defined.

4. A process for evaluating the physician assistant's performance is established.

C. A supervising physician shall not supervise more than six physician assistants who work at the same time.

D. A supervising physician shall develop a system for recording and reviewing all instances in which the nurse practitioner prescribes schedule II or schedule III controlled substances.

1+ hour/month working on chart review per NP/PA delegate. Charts are for school are not expected to be complex to review.

Pay: $300.00 - $1,500.00 per month
