We are seeking a Physician or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine to act as a part time Supervising Physician.

The schedule is negotiable, with the minimum requirement being 1-3 days per month.

This is a Physical medicine office. The Physician can work remotely to review charts and supervise the NP but needs to be on site 1-3 days a month or in absence of NP.

We prefer a Supervising Physician experienced in pain medicine, family medicine, or orthopedics but will consider a GP as well.

Liability: We have and provide a full medical malpractice policy that is specific to regenerative medicine with a company who insures 100+ QC Kinetix locations across the country and has been insuring us for years. The physician’s liability is lessened in our practices because we are an all-cash practice and no third party payers are involved, including CMS/Medicare. Liability is limited to the acts and providers that the physician supervises and the procedures they perform themselves, e.g. bone marrow aspirations.

Supervising Physician Role:

• The physician is supervising mid-level providers who are performing joint injections.
• We prefer the Supervising Physician to be the one doing the bone marrow procedures, but a qualified mid-level provider could do them if the physician was comfortable with that.
• The only other obligations the physician has are to appropriately meet with the supervised providers and follow state medical guidelines regarding chart reviews.

Must be licensed in the state of Missouri.

We specialize in the use of regenerative medicine to treat arthritis, sports related Injuries, and chronic pain. This person must be passionate about regenerative medicine and helping patients through natural means of healing without the use of drugs or surgery.

Responsibilities include:

• Sports medicine/Orthopedic focused exams
• Joint injections in an out-patient setting and bone marrow aspiration procedures once trained
• Ability to explain the treatments in great detail to patients and their families
