Job Location:3225 Pendorff Rd, Laurel, MS 39440

Position Type: contract( 6 months) with possible extension

Pay rate $20.60/hr on w2 with benefits

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree or higher in chemistry
Any form of lab experience, chemical a plus
Any form of production process experience

Associates Degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemistry or related field. Bachelors Degree is a plus.
One+ year experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, technical sales, management).
Strong interpersonal, communications and documentation skills.
Proficient in standard Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities:

The Site Technician is a role within Henkel that is assigned to support a single customer's processes..
Provide full time onsite technical support to the client.
Conduct weekly audits/service reports, monthly status reports for covered processes
Provide customer service/trouble-shooting at the client locations.
Order and maintain chemical inventory, reconcile year end inventory and report monthly chemical usage for proper costing.
Conduct technical training classes for client personnel.
Conduct regular monthly communications with assigned sales engineer updating account status.
Liaison with client site personnel from washer operators to supervisors, department managers, quality managers, EHS managers, divisional vice presidents and purchasing.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Laurel, MS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
