Job Description
Change lives and come join a highly skilled multi-discipline team of professionals providing care to high risk individuals in a state of the art facility located in the heart of the metro area. The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is looking for a part-time friendly, hard- working Food Service Specialist to join their food services team. This facility is responsible for preparing meals for both metro crisis centers, the Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center and the Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit. This position will be responsible routine duties of handling, preparing and serving food. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the food service area.
Job Type/Salary:
- Part-time (Friday - Sunday)
- Annual Salary is $31, 500.00 (pay band E)
- FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Two years of experience in a commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substitution one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation for the required experience.
Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 20 pounds.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
