As a Regional Trainer for our innovative Break-Fix division, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional training skills during exciting in-store sessions with our dynamic field reps. Your vast retail and installation experience will be pivotal in assisting with covering store visits, conducting time studies and test sets. As a well-traveled road warrior, you'll be able to easily adapt to weekly travel by car or plane.
You'll play a significant role in improving the efficiency and processes of our skilled field team, as well as developing and enhancing our training programs. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Conduct one-on-one or group training with field rep
- Travel to markets to train in-store/in-person field reps
- Provide feedback to Management and Field Operations on training calls and in-person meetings with reps
- Complete surveys about findings during market visits and new hire training
- Meet with store associates and develop relationships while in store
- Conduct store visits in local markets to provide coverage
- Travel to other markets to cover store visits
- Conduct test sets, shakedowns, and time studies as needed
- Participate in weekly conference calls
- Facilitate training calls as needed
- Help execute major projects as Team Lead when necessary
- Other functions as requested by management
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- 2+ years of retail merchandising and installation experience
Skills and Attributes:
- Availability to travel weekly out of your home market by automobile or plane to train reps and/or work with clients
- Able to accommodate overnight travel a minimum of 4-5 nights per week up to 3 times a month
- Able to conduct test sets wherever necessary
- Great attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Independently adapt to changes and respond supportively in working with various circumstances and people
- Successfully work through varied issues with integrity, honesty, and in a candid, straightforward manner
- Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and mobile app environments
- Professional demeanor
- Android or Apple device for uploading photos and data upon completion of your assignments
- Must have a basic toolkitA basic toolkit includes a multi-screwdriver, torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, easy off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and goo gone
- Ability to drive your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license and provide proof of motor vehicle insurance
- Ability to drive on behalf of the Company, in compliance with Company guidelines and requirements; and have the ability to travel within a designated market
