Description:

This role's primary responsibilities include traveling into the field daily to customer utility sites to do inspections, data collection and image-capturing, which is to be returned to the design/engineering team. The candidate will be supporting Electric New Business work coming directly from BGE or Delmarva Power (Owned by Exelon). When customer's request new installations or additions, they will talk through the customer request, schedule a time to go out in the field and take measurements/ pictures. (They will typically schedule multiple appointments at a time because the job sites can be up to 50 minutes away in North East, MD.) They will then take their field notes back to the office where the design team puts together the generic design packages together.

• Field technicians are expected to be available for storm duty as-needed and may require overtime or flexible work scheduling
• The contractor will work as both a part of a team and individually when necessary.
• They will need to use their own vehicle to perform field work, they will be paid for mileage as an expense.
