Walter E. Nelson Co - Medford is looking for a full-time delivery driver to deliver product once a week to Klamath Falls, Roseburg, Grants Pass, and Northern California area.

The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations, while interacting with customers and sales representatives daily to meet the expectations of the business. They are responsible for delivering, unloading, and checking in the product to customers each day. Our drivers are the face of the Company and must provide top-notch customer service.

This is a full-time position working Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 am – 3:00 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drivers assigned route, delivering Company's products in a safe, timely, and professional manner in Medford, OR and vicinity
• Unload and load, check in, and service product to meet customers' needs and expectations
• Rotate all Company's product according to Company standards
• Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with customers, co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you meet throughout your job
• Adhere to and follow all Company policies, procedures and governmental regulations
• Balance delivery, money, and inventory
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Work with sales team members on a continual basis to support and evaluate customer's needs
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values always
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Unexpired Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to frequently work at heights up to 30'
• Regular, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts
• Successfully pass a drug test and background screen
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to resolve conflict
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to drive Non-CDL commercial truck with air brake system
