Job description

We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for our main company and associated brands. The candidate should be able to work with multiple teams to gather input and provide content in required forms for each brand. They should be able to perform research and provide feedback on existing content, research competitors to ensure market perspective, and provide compelling content to attract interest over our competition.

The content writer's responsibilities include:

• Creating content for: Brand websites

Blogs/articles
Social media posts
Email campaigns

• Researching industry trends to modify/adjust content as needed
• Regular updates of brand websites
• Able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content
• Working with brand/product team members to gather industry trend information

Content Writer Responsibilities:

• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
• Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the brand websites.
• Assisting the marketing team in developing content for marketing campaigns.
• Awareness of the latest SEO techniques.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Leveraging Marketing Team members/leads to provide keyword research and SEO best practices to increase traffic to the brand websites.
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of each target audience.
• Identifying customers' needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the brand/product's current content.

Content Writer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field.
• Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
• Working knowledge of content management systems.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• A portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.
