Job description
This position is responsible for the safe handling, fitting, welding, grinding, and proper tagging of product being bent on the press brake.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Fitting and welding parts for jobs to specifications
- Properly tagging completed work with required information
- Follow all SOP’s and JSA’s
- Operation of forklifts and hoists
- Checking quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity
- Other tasks as instructed by supervision
Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED; Vo-Tech/Trade School (preferred)
- Experience: 1-2 years industrial/manufacturing environment
- Specific skills: Welding, forklift (preferred)
- Physical abilities: Standing/bending full shift, lifting up to 50lbs, communication with others, some repetitive motion, processes that may require PPE
