Description:In the Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter role, you will be working with the team and cross-training in all functions of Human Resources - 60% of the day-to-day role will be Recruiting. The other 40% would include policies, procedures and the administration of benefits, compensation, employee development and training, employee relations, and employment law.
Duties for the Human Resources Recruiter position include:
- Update the talent acquisition system
- Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing to develop a talent pool
- Sourcing qualified candidates for open positions, prescreening potential candidates and submitting candidates to hiring managers
- Determine the best talent sourcing plans
- Manage talent acquisition marketing campaigns
- Implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Move candidates through the hiring process
- Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process
- Assist other team members with General HR duties
- Formulating and posting job opportunity advertisements
- Ensure timely and accurate entries to the HRIS database

- Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws
- Demonstrated knowledge of staffing and employment practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law
- Demonstrated Consultative and coaching skills
- Demonstrated Analytical skills
- Demonstrated Business Acumen
- Demonstrated Project Management skills
- Knowledge of cable television products and services a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
- Human Resources Generalist experience - 3-4 years
- Full-Cycle Recruiting - 2+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Human Resources Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or PHR, SPHR) preferred
