Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) PRN
Position: PRN
Shift: Varies
Evening Shift Differential: 7.5% from 7pm-11pm and 15% from 11pm-6am.
Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) Opportunity
For over 50-years, the Calvary Healing Center has provided leading residential and outpatient addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers a 50-bed residential treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction, while also providing a separate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. A standalone 18-bed detox facility is also on-site and located in a separate wing to better address the needs of those who require extra care before officially entering the treatment program.

Summary of Duties
The BHT operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continous patient care, supervision, intearaction, and role modeling to patients. The BHT works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, Lead BHT, and RN Charge Nurse.

Qualifications
Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT/BHTPP.
- Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
- Valid CPR-AED-First Aid (FA) or Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification & FA
- Current Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) Certification
