Mueller Co. is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time production positions at our Decatur Foundry Operations. These positions are 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay ranges between $24 - $29/hr. plus shift differential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Follow detailed verbal/written assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

Read and understand work orders and assembly instructions.

Prepare and assemble materials and parts.
-
Move, process, and organize materials and manufactured products.
-
Operate hand power tools, presses, drills, and any other required machinery efficiently and safely.

Perform quality control checks and verify work order specifications.
-
Properly fill out basic forms, reports, and label products correctly.

Be able to communicate and work effectively with others.
-
Report any problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Supervisor.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
-
Candidates must be available to work all shifts including possible mandatory overtime on weekends.

Be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
-
Repetitive standing, bending, turning, and twisting for extended periods of time.
-
Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold)
-
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach at arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
-
Ability to use power tools, air tools, and other vibratory tools.
-
Ability to work around hot heavy machinery.

Must be able to pass a basic aptitude test, physical, with drug/alcohol test and background screen.

Previous experience in a foundry setting
