Load Coordinator

You will book & coordinate loads, help ensure on time deliveries and interact with our customers and fleet managers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Coordinate and plan freight loads with customers

§ Coordinate loads with TNi fleet

§ Analyze & negotiate freight rates

§ Enter and update load information into our TMS

§ Ensure on time pick ups and deliveries to meet Customer’s needs

§ Assist customers on the phone and via email

§ Manage load concerns

§ Assist with Driver calls, including inquiries, concerns, fuel needs

§ Assist with other requests made of the Operations Department

*This position would be required to work every 5th weekend in Operations (½ day Saturday and ½ day Sunday)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

§ Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize

§ Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

§ Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400

§ Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
