Metrolina Eye Associates is a multi-location full-service optometry and ophthalmology group in the Mecklenburg, Union, and York County regions. The team of 95 professionals delivers a top-notch patient experience through expert care, advanced technology, high-quality optical products, and access to the latest clinical information. With a strong focus on preserving eye health, the doctors offer specialties in LASIK vision correction, cataract surgery, retina surgery and disease, diabetes eye care, glaucoma care, and eyelid surgery. The business is also creating a clinical education program and accreditation of office-based surgery center
What you'll do:
Working in a fast-paced clinical environment, you'll care for patients of all ages, visual diagnoses, and medical conditions. You'll provide comprehensive vision and medical eye care, manage and treat ocular diseases, and surgical co-management. On average, each doctor cares for 24 to 34 patients daily. You'll also have access to advanced diagnostic technology and a supportive team of skilled professionals dedicated to creating a positive patient experience. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a talented team of Optometrists and Ophthalmologists while leveraging your medical optometry skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited optometry program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Residency trained
- Strong focus on medical eye care
- Two years of experience in an ophthalmology setting
- Surgical co-management
