Joining Block Advisors as a Staff Accountant means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax and business services needs year-round. You’ll have the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

What you will do:

• Preparing financial statements
• Maintenance of journal entries and general ledger
• Preparation of monthly sales tax
• Preparation of quarterly payroll reports
• Knowledge of payroll processing
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare individual/Entity tax returns

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years accounting experience
• MUST HAVE strong knowledge of general ledger work, preparing financial statements.
• BA/BS in accounting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, and accuracy is a must
• Ability to work effectively independently and be an assertive self-starter
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Tax preparation experience with Small Business clients
