JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing responsive care, effective teaching, and an organized learning environment that promotes healthy development and children’s age 4-5 school readiness skill growth aligned with Head Start Program* and state standards for children with disabilities.

  Head Start is a Federal program that promotes the school readiness of children from birth to age five from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• ESE Certification and Pre-K Disabilities Endorsement or any other combination of certification and endorsement acceptable by the Florida Department of Education per the Florida Course Code Director
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate
